How
do I join? |
Schedule of Member dues
Rower
A rower is any person, 18
years of age or older, who sweep rows or sculls using club
equipment or storage space for their own equipment. |
$300/year
plus $50 initiation* to be paid in either:
-Two 6-month installments
-One yearly payment (1 month free if 11 months are paid in advance) |
Family

$480/year
plus $50 initiation* to
be paid in either:
-Two 6-month installments
-One yearly payment (1 month free if 11 months are paid in advance) |
Summer College-Rower/Student
Memberships (NEW in '06)
A
summer college student rower is any person
enrolled in college full-time and is a member of a
college rowing team or club during the academic year. |
$150/Summer (May 1 - Labor Day) Paid in
ADVANCE! (Student must row 50 miles in
Alden Star OR until a VBC Board Member approves proficiency to move to an
elite
boat). Keys must be returned before leaving back to school! |
*Initiation fee waived if rower completes a Learn to
Row Class

Boat Storage
Do you own your own rowing shell? VBC
Members may store their boats in the House (Downtown &
Robious Landing), subject to space availability. A monthly
$5 per boat rack fee is required in addition to regular member dues. |
Receive a month
FREE! Members who make one annual
lump-sum dues payment will receive the 12th month free. Simply pay for 11
months and row for 12! |
A one-time initiation
fee is required of all new members (unless you
complete a Learn to Row Class and initiation is waived)Dues paid
by either two 6-month installments or in full for
yearly membership.
Fees are cheerfully waived for Coxswains who do
