Robious Boathouse Expansion Update

RICHMOND, VA November 3, 2008 - The Robious Boathouse expansion project continued this past weekend with the near completion of the second roof wing.  Excellent weather made for a pleasant, if not tiring workday.  You can see more photos of the project in the Photo Gallery section.Boathouse Expansion Project

With the first layer of plywood added to the second roof wing, the end of the project is in sight.  However we need volunteers to finish the remaining steps.  These steps include: completing the second layer of plywood installation, nailing down shingles on both roof wings, and installing the racking shelves inside.

If you haven't had a chance to come down to the Robious work parties recently, please try to volunteer some of your time.  You'll be impressed with the amount club members have accomplished to date!

Thanks to everyone who has participated...particularly to the core group of regulars who show up each and everytime!

See you at the next work party!
