Head of the James

Overview

The Head of the James is a beautifully scenic head race on the upper James River just north of the City of Richmond.  The event is high school and masters regatta, jointly sponsored by James River High School Crew and Virginia Boat Club.  The event is located in the 50-acre Robious Landing Park at 3800 James River Road in Midlothian, VA.  The site includes parking for cars, picnic shelters, playground, and miles of walking trails.

2007 Results

The 2007 Head of the James was a smashing success with over 13 clubs participating in over 60 events.  For 2007 results, check out this link to Regatta Central.

2008
