VBC Gold at Charm City Sprints

Ansel Gustafson, youngest VBC member and summer rowing coach for the club, competed in the Charm City Sprints on Saturday June 26th, 2004. He rowed in the Novice Singles race and took GOLD finishing the 1000 meters in 3:41! His closest competitor finished the race in 4:02. Congratulations, Ansel!

A Women's Novice Four also competed in their very first racing event, finishing 5th out of 6th. Congratulations to Beth Isler, Shannon Conner, Laura Lengowski, Elizabeth Hendrick and Erin Moran (sitting in as Coxswain)! Look for this 'four' at upcoming Diamond States.
